Job Title: Cardiac Physiologist (Echo)  

Location: Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, HA1 3UJ 

Band: Band 6 

Contract Type: Locum 

We are looking for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist (Echo) to support a busy NHS service in Harrow working acorss Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospital. As an experienced and highly skilled cardiac physiologist (echo) you will play a vital role in providing excellent care to cardiac patients. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform a range of diagnostic investigations including ECG, Holter monitoring, patch monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, transthoracic echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. 
  • Manage and care for Cardiology patients within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ensure efficient service provision for inpatient investigations. 
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide mentorship to junior colleagues. 

 

Essential Qualifications: 

We are looking for a Cardiac Physiologist (Echo) with:    

  • A BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology (or international equivalent). 
  • HCPC Registration. 
  • Full BSE/EACVI accreditation. 
  • Proven experience in transthoracic echocardiography. 
  • Excellent diagnostic skills expected of a Band 6 Cardiac Physiologist or higher.
