Hours: 8.30-4.00pm 

Salary: £28,000- £38,000 

School Staffing Solutions are recruiting for a Secondary Teacher to work in a specialist provision in Ilford We are particularly interested in speaking with teachers who have experience in teaching across all subjects covering all key stages from KS3.​

 

As a Teacher in this provision, ​your day will be varied and interesting you will be able to follow a flexible structure whilst supporting children and young people by providing bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks that are tailor made to each child and young person. The school who works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings, offer education on an outreach basis or within one of the Ofsted registered a school.

You will be working within a Trauma informed practice model where you can support and ​follow a therapeutic practice.

​The young people may have had many adults come in and out of their lives, often adding to their trauma. Therefore, the school is looking for committed and dedicated people that want to continue their career with a therapeutically based organisation and leading alternative education provision

  • The children are aged between 8 and 18 years old who have SEMH / ASD and other additional needs

  • The small, experienced teaching team have the flexibility to use their talents and skills to create a broad curriculum around each child, as well as offering support alongside other alternative provisions that the children may access.

  • The full-time hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am -16:30pm

The role is full time and permanent.
