About the Role

We're looking for an inspiring and experienced School Lead to take ownership of a specialist education site and play a key role in shaping its success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident education leader who is passionate about driving high standards, supporting staff development, and making a real impact on the lives of young people.

You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to lead the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring outstanding teaching, strong pastoral support, and positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running and operational management of the site
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and pastoral support
  • Drive improvements in behaviour, attendance and student achievement
  • Act as Safeguarding Lead (alongside the Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead) and promote a strong safeguarding culture
  • Lead, develop and motivate staff, including performance management
  • Monitor student progress and use data to inform improvement strategies
  • Work collaboratively with SLT, external partners, and families
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure personalised learning is at the heart of delivery
  • Lead on reporting, reviews, and stakeholder engagement

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has leadership experience within an education setting (SEND or alternative provision experience highly desirable)
  • Is passionate about building a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment
  • Has strong experience of improving behaviour, attendance and outcomes
  • Is confident leading, developing and challenging staff
  • Can use data effectively to drive improvement
  • Has excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
  • Is a qualified teacher (or equivalent)
