Newly created role with a well known retail brand, this is an excellent opportunity for those who started their VAT career in an accounting focused role and want to take on more indirect tax exposure.
Duties:
- Preparation of quarterly UK&I VAT returns
- Supporting the Indirect Tax Manager on advisory projects
- Work closely with the wider finance/tax function to improve process, you will also liaise with the wider business handling any vat queries that they may have
- Partnering with IT to improve processes and ensure efficiency
About You:
- Experience of working with retail clients is an advantage
- Strong Excel skills
