Our client is looking for a Senior VAT Manager to lead on a newly created division in their business. In order to truly develop an effective tax solution you must be confident in dealing with teams outside of the tax function. This role will be advisory in nature but will see you take responsibility for overseeing compliance planning and the work of more junior colleagues.

The role
- Work with a variety of business units to ensure global indirect tax issues are managed effectively and understood, ensuring tax risk is managed appropriately for all commercial and corporate operations
- Conduct risk and control analysis for indirect tax processes and identify areas where controls can be enhanced.
- Formulate and drive wider VAT/Indirect Tax strategy for this new division
- Represent the business, taking the lead on engagements and negotiations with external advisors, government bodies, tax authorities, and auditors.
About you
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Previous international VAT experience is beneficial, as is prior experience of working in the advertising space.
