A well known Retail group are looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join their VAT team in Southampton. This is a diverse role which will expose you to advisory projects, compliance process improvements and people management. Excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a step up or to make their first move in-house.
The role will see you:
- Support the Head of Indirect Tax in advising on day-to-day indirect tax matters, identifying potential risks and optimising opportunity
- Oversight of internal compliance process across global jurisdictions.
- Conduct risk and control analysis for indirect tax processes and identify areas where controls can be enhanced.
- Formulate and drive wider VAT/Indirect Tax strategy of the group.
- Managing and mentoring two junior members of the team.
