Chief Financial Officer - Pharma/Biotech (JLBCFO) Colorado, USA
Company looking for CFO to join their executive leadership team.
This role will report to the company’s CEO and be responsible for the company’s entire financial function. They are looking to engage with candidates that are able to provide financial leadership and strategy to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership team and that have proven experience in a CFO role.

Roles & responsibilities:
· Provide leadership and management of the company’s wider finance team.
· Provide strategic financial recommendations to the CEO and board of directors.
· Works closely with finance director to prepares quarterly and annual financial reports.
· Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements.
· Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; working with CEO to maintain relationships with the investment community (bankers and analysts).
· Reports financial status by developing forecasts and reporting results and monitors financial performance against results.
· Staying abreast of new regulations within the industry as well as maintaining personal & professional networks.
· Ensures SEC reporting is completed as needed.
Skills & experience required:
· Minimum of 15+ years of finance experience and at least 10 years in a pharma/biotech setting.
· 3 years’ experience in a CFO role.
· Extensive experience managing finance teams.
· M&A deal experience (3 or 4 deals)
· A proven leader with a results driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
