The role
- Taking part in research and development
- Producing Bills of Materials
- Liaising with customers
- Developing and building prototypes
- Developing and implementing tests
- Design verification and concept testing through theoretical analysis and mathematical calculations
- 3D modelling
- Producing detailed technical documents
Key Skills
- 3+ years experience in a design environment, ideally experience in electro-mechanical design
- Experience in hand calculations and modelling
- Prototyping and modelling experience
- 3D modelling and calculations
- Good communication skills with customers and suppliers
- Project management experience
- Experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar
- Background with complex machined parts.
