Are you looking to commence your Fitting & Turning Apprenticeship?
We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st year Fitting & Turning Apprentice to work with our client who is Australia’s largest locally owned hydraulics company. Based in the outer Eastern suburbs, we are looking for a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training and a Certificate III Engineering-Mechanical Trade
What will you be doing?
- Reading drawings
- Milling,
- Cutting,
- Turning
- Lathe operation
- Measuring marking out cutting
- Moving materials
- House keeping
What do you need for this role?
- Someone who is a team player, trustworthy and great work ethic
- Good math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work methodically
- A quick learner
- Computer skills
- Practical trade skills and/or relevant pre-apprenticeship
