Responsibilities:

Parts Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce lead times.
  • Regularly review and update parts catalogue, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and timely procurement of parts.
  • Monitor and analyse parts usage trends to forecast demand and minimize excess inventory.

Service Operations:

  • Lead the service team in providing timely and efficient maintenance and repair services for our metal fabrication equipment.
  • Schedule and dispatch service technicians to customer sites, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of service activities.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions.
  • Gather customer feedback and use it to drive continuous improvement in our products and services.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of service technicians.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and individual growth.
