Family Support Worker – Waking Nights

 £15.26 - £16.04 per hour
 90 hours per month
 8:30pm – 9:30am (Waking Nights)

About the Role

We're looking for a caring and dedicated Family Support Worker to support parents and their children within a residential family assessment setting.

Key Duties

• Support parents with meeting their child's care needs.
• Observe and record family interactions and parenting skills.
• Complete accurate reports and daily records.
• Monitor families through direct supervision and CCTV.
• Promote safeguarding and child welfare at all times.
• Help families develop positive parenting skills.
• Work alongside Social Workers and other professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For

 Experience working with children, families, or vulnerable people
 Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
 Strong communication and report-writing skills
 Ability to work independently during waking nights
 Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Experience in family support, residential childcare, or social care
• Knowledge of parenting assessments and trauma-informed practice
