Our client is looking for an Electronics or Electrical Test Technician to carry out Technical Support for a variety of clients
Working in a dedicated support team you will support customers on installation, programming and fault finding of electronic products. You will check customer orders to ensure products are correctly specified and compatible as a system, inform customers over any concerns over orders and produce wiring diagrams and technical documentation to accompany them. You will also create, edit and produce of technical documents and wiring diagrams for both external and internal use.
In addition to this you will carry out occasional site visits and support the R&D department with the development of new products and provide support & training
The successful Electronics Support Technician will have a background in Electronics / Electrical test and be able to understand wiring diagrams. You will be able to use electronics test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, have good fault-finding skills with a methodical approach to resolving problems. Good communication skills with a patient and calm demeanour and a good level of IT literacy are essential.
