Headquarted in Singapore, my client is the largest end-to-end cybersecurity service provider in Asia. They offer bespoke solutions and services to address their clients’ cybersecurity needs. Their core competencies are in the provision of cybersecurity advisory and assurance services, architecture design and systems integration services, and managed security services for advanced threat detection, threat hunting, and incident response.
As the company expands, they are looking for a Security Architect (Cyber) to actively drive and direct project discussions, be responsible for the delivery of the solution, at the same time providing solutions and direction to a team of Security Consultants.
about the job
- Assess and decide on the direction of solutions based on impact analysis and experience, especially when there is project delivery risk in the functionality and schedule
- Lead/ Influence the discussion to deriving the best solution design while reviewing the requirements gathered during the requirement gathering phase
- Direct the development of the assigned tasks and actively guide and test the workability of the module and solution
- Develop customized test cases to test the functionality of the Proof-of-concept products in a comprehensive, unbiased and objective format, from a customer’s point of view
- Review, design and implement and improve internal processes
- Keep up-to-date on latest security for IT development best practices
- Keep up-to-date with latest technological trends in relation to development, especially on the various cloud-based managed services
- Grow the team - actively participate in the integration of new consultants into the team
- Maintain accurate documents of the work done for reporting and accountability.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent
- Relevant Industry Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, PMP, CCNP, Cloud or equivalent
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc
- Experience with client server technologies, Virtualization, Cloud and Analytics
- Technical experience in designing complex IT solution
- Programming and Shell scripting knowledge will be an advantage
- Experienced in project management, consulting, customer service
- Experienced in people management, supervisory role
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
