Solutions & Integration Architect - Outside IR35 (JW/SOL-API-MK#3) Milton Keynes, England

Salary: GBP0 - GBP450 per day + Neg
Solutions & Integration Architect – 11-12 months – (Milton Keynes) OUTSIDE IR35
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to be part of our Manged Service team to help deliver on an exciting new project. The project is due to run for the next 2-3 years. In the first instance this will be a 11/12 month contract at a rate of £450 per day (outside IR35)
As the Solutions Architect you will be responsible for making high-level design choices including creating, defining and choosing the right framework for various development and integration solutions. You will be responsible for the coordination and communication between team members within the EAIP and clients, in order to provide comprehensive, integrated, end-to-end solutions for our clients.
Requirements
• Have demonstrable experience and a Solution Architect and/or Integration Architect
• Understand API integration
• Experience in leading the design of complicated integration solutions, including COTS (commercial off the shelf) products
• Experience of leading integration and data migration in close collaboration with the EAIP and client project teams
• Govern the integration process across all phases of delivery
• Collaborate with technical teams in the design, build, test and operation of integration solutions
• Manage all internal and external 3rd party relationships involved in the end-to-end integration
• Knowledge of Oracle Apex – nice to have but not essential
• Excellent understanding of integration architecture and patterns
• Knowledge of and experience with multiple integration and API management technologies
• Define and develop the overall technology architecture philosophy and 'big picture’, including hardware platforms, operating systems, cloud, etc
• Collaborate with business functions and the wider IT team to identify the potential application of emerging technology, and to promote re-use of existing data and services
• Responsible for ensuring that new projects and initiatives meet agreed technical principles and are in line with our technical strategy
• Build and maintain a repository of technical documentation to spread awareness of our applications architecture
• Experience of an architecture framework and methodology such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc. would be beneficial
• Be an analytical thinker who possesses a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Strong experience of working with legacy and modern system integrations including build and test phases.

Ideally, we are looking for a Solutions Architect with a good understanding of API integrations. Experience in leading the design of complicated integration solutions will also be highly beneficial.
