Compliance Specialist – (EMIR / REFIT) - Manchester 6 months - £600
Opening for a Compliance Analyst in Manchester with a leading Custodial Bank.
As the Compliance Analyst you will be expected to have expertise in EMIR and EMIR REFIT
This is a long tern Programme of work. Due to this the client deem living a commutable distance from Manchester highly beneficial.
Role responsibilities:
+ Maintain programme interpretation log for all legal and compliance queries/advice.
+ Help to identify constraints, issues, risks and assumptions for the programme, and escalates as necessary.
+ Provide guidance on development of the controls and governance framework, based on existing processes, and by reviewing the output of the other Programme workstreams.
+ Gathers and analyse information and develops recommendations to address major business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas. Information gathering may require the ability to handle and analyse large scale data across multiple systems and products.
+ Develop process and workflow maps as necessary, recommending enhancements needed to procedures and controls. Works with business and technology teams to develop technology roadmap strategy when appropriate.
+ Coordinates the business to ensure full traceability is put in place, using the banks traceability tool.
+ Adhere to methodologies adopted by the Firm and ensures a smooth transition of product knowledge to all relevant parties in business as usual including business partners for approval
