Location: Pewsey, Wiltshire, SN9 6BE)
Pay Rate: 19.61 per hour
Working Hours: 37 per week. Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm (this can be flexible and can also work 8am to 4pm if required)
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week office attendance, 2 working from home. Full office attendance may be required for first 2 weeks training period
Length of Assignment: until 31/03/27

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client for a Business Support Manager (HEO) to help drive business case management and assurance across the command.
What you’ll be doing:
• Act as a focal point for AITC investment needs, supporting business case guidance, tracking progress and helping ensure approval timelines are met
• Advise Finance stakeholders when needed and support business case authors to strengthen structure, options, procurement routes, and the articulation of business benefits, Value for Money (VfM) and affordability
• Maintain trackers to monitor business cases, commercial requirements and requests, including IYSM exemptions for AITC
• Oversee payment mechanisms and support procurement activity across the command by initiating relevant payments/actions and advising teams on variant processes where appropriate
• Support commercial screening boards, candidate prioritisation and ensure commercial engagement aligns with contract timelines
• Maintain Letters of Delegation and delegation matrix alignment, including tracking, signature/receipt consolidation and publishing updates
• Coordinate assurance and governance activities-handling monthly assurance data, producing reports, maintaining audit-ready paperwork, and supporting briefings to operational groups
• Lead assurance return management by consolidating and submitting documentation, maintaining local storage trackers, and guiding teams to ensure compliance ahead of audits
• Support HQ AITC card governance activities, including audits of cardholder transaction logs and bank reconciliations, card applications/cancellations, delegation changes, and SharePoint file management
What you’ll bring:
• Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and customers
• Strong written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting information clearly to senior audiences
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insight to senior staff
• Ability to work at pace and prioritise effectively under pressure
• A good work ethic and willingness to learn (finance/accounting/commercial experience is helpful, but not essential)
