About the Demand Planning Assistant Manager Role:
In this position, you will handle large sets of data and collaborate with other supply chain planning functions to create a robust demand plan, enabling effective financial planning and execution throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the demand plan for statistical forecast through confirmation with the commercial team
- Maintain data related to the demand forecast to include historical data, demand sensing date, and forecast model parameters
- Be a part of the integrated business planning and contributing to the demand planning metrics targets
- Lead collaborations with finance on the commercial aspects of the demand plan to identify the gaps within the financial plan and proactively brainstorm on potential issues that may arise and design action plans
- Manage issues and escalate issues to higher management where appropriate
To succeed in the Demand Planner Assistant Manager role, you will need to have experience in using SAP for demand planning activities and able to effectively analyse performance indicators to improve forecast performance.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or a related field of study
- Four years of work experience in demand planning function within manufacturing industries
- Must have SAP experience with demand planning
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP and Power BI tools
- Strong analytical skills, influential, operations process driven and focused on accuracy
- Able to resolve conflicts, strong sense of urgency, proactive and possess the foresight to plan ahead for the business
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management capability to communicate effectively with other functional heads
