About the Role

We are seeking a Senior System Development Engineer to join a team developing advanced medical device technology. This role focuses on integrating embedded firmware, hardware, and secure systems within a regulated environment. If you have strong C/C++ and C# programming skills, experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems, and knowledge of medical device compliance standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, FDA 21 CFR Part 11), this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration of embedded software and hardware systems for advanced medical devices
  • Develop and maintain software in C++, C#, and embedded C
  • Manage bug fixes, patch deployment, and feature enhancements under strict timelines
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers on system-level troubleshooting and network safety
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 60 
  • Maintain design history files and technical documentation per regulatory requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in C++, C#, and embedded C
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in embedded systems and system integration
  • Exposure to regulated environments (medical devices preferred; aerospace/automotive acceptable)
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver from month one
  • Familiarity with hardware-software integration and troubleshooting

Desirable:

  • Experience with IEC 60601 safety standards
  • Knowledge of FDA and EU MDR frameworks
