Job Title: General Accountant

Location: UAE – Dubai

Estimated Salary: AED 10 - 16K per month + Medical Insurance + Yearly Flight Ticket + Visa + Bonus (performance based, discretionary)

About the Opportunity

We have an interesting opportunity with one of our oil and gas, boutique trading clients.  Due to their trading workload and volumes being handled, they require a full time, Accountant, who is experienced in the oil trading industry to join their multi-national and cultural team here in Dubai.

They trade, doing buy and sell trade cargo's, on an international scale.

Required Profile

5+ years’ experience in accountancy with at least 3 years professional work experience in accounting for an oil and gas trading firm.

Workling proficiency of Quick Books

Some Tally experience is also desirable

Experience handling invoicing, billing, and reporting

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Any professional accounting qualifications will be advantageous

Key responsibilities and tasks to likely include:

1. Prepare and process invoices
2. Ensure accurate billing for services, equipment, and materials related to oil and gas operations.
3. Track and reconcile accounts
4. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
5. Maintain financial records
6. Keep organized records of transactions, contracts, and billing documents for audits and reporting.
7. Support budgeting and cost tracking
8. Assist in tracking project costs and comparing actual vs. budget for drilling, exploration, and production.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards
10. Follow oil & gas accounting regulations and company policies, including tax and reporting requirements.
