Progressive Engineering is currently resourcing for a highly experienced Plant Manager in the power generation industry with a focus of EFW to join our market leading client
About the role
Our client is a market leader in waste water and waste water management, As plant Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, environment friendly and ethical operations and Maintenance of a Kwinana Energy From Waste Facility which shall be operational round the clock. You will be supported by the Operations and Maintenance Managers in this role. You will also oversee the performance of the plant and give directions and determine methods of work. You will also be responsible for the performance, appraisal and training and management of your team
You will bring the following to the role:
- Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Engineering/Management
- Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) knowledge and Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Incineration and Power Generation
- Previous experience in Waste to Energy
- Ability to lead, motivate and coach staff with a strong focus on Safety
- Programmed outage experience
- Familiarity with the Google suite products
