Position: Bunker Trader - Dubai
Key Responsibilities:
As a Bunker Trader, you will play a pivotal role in back-to-back trading operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors influencing bunker prices.
2. Negotiation and Contracting: Engage in effective negotiations with suppliers and clients to secure favorable terms. Draft and execute bunker supply contracts.
3. Risk Management: Assess and manage the financial and operational risks associated with bunker trading, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
4. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering exceptional service.
5. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of bunker fuels, optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven portfolio as a Bunker Trader, with a track record of successful trading in the maritime industry.
- In-depth knowledge of global bunker markets, pricing mechanisms, and industry regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed, strategic decisions in a dynamic market.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk management principles and the ability to navigate complex contractual agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
