HVAC Engineer

HVAC Engineer (PR-1200183) City Of Manchester, England

Salary: GBP43000 - GBP44000 per annum

Randstad C&P are working with a leading facilities management company to onboard a HVAC Engineer. As a HVAC Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in commercial buildings. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment to keep our clients' premises comfortable and energy-efficient.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The main working hours will be Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation units.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty or worn-out components.
  • Carry out system testing to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients while on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Commercial Gas qualifications – you will have at least 4 of the following qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1
  • F Gas (2079) qualified
  • Proven experience as an HVAC engineer with a focus on commercial buildings.
  • Extensive knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Relevant HVAC certifications and qualifications.
