D365/Azure Architect – Fully Remote/UK

D365/Azure Architect required for a leading UK organisation, where you will be responsible for defining end-to-end technical solutions across the D365, Azure & SaaS estate. Within the role, you will support multiple technology projects and changes working in both Agile & Waterfall project environments. The role can be performed fully working from home.

The ideal candidate will have previous architecture experience working with predominantly D365 & Azure. Any experience with 0365 and the wider Microsoft stack would be highly attractive.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Take ownership of technical solutions from design to operational use ensuring that the solution being realised is aligned with architectural principles and the way it was intended to be.
  • Lead technical design sessions and be able to communicate validated concepts to product owners, engineers, leadership, and customers.
  • Act as the technical lead in vendor selection to ensure selection of appropriate technology.
  • Take ownership of technical risks and mitigations throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Oversee ownership of technical problems through to resolution. Collaborating with customers and technical SMEs to drive resolutions.
  • Write detailed and comprehensive technical designs of complex systems. Selecting appropriate design standards, methods and tools.
  • Create experience deliverables including user journeys, wireframes, flows, mock-ups to clearly communicate solutions to the delivery team and stakeholders.

Key Skills required for the role

  • Proven experience in IT Architecture in a complex environment whilst working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Worked with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions and expert knowledge of the Microsoft stack (D365, Azure, DevOps, O365).
  • Strong knowledge across a wide breadth of technologies (applications, infrastructure, cloud, networks and data).
  • Data savvy (XML, Data Mapping, Canonical, Database design) with a meticulous eye for detail. 
  • Wireframes, user flows, visual design and mockup / prototypes.
  • Holistic view of design to ensure appropriate reuse of architectural components.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. The role can be performed fully from home.
