Digital Services Assets Lead – SACM/ITSM - Worcester

Digital Services Assets/Service Delivery Lead required for an organisation based near Worcester, where you will play a key role in the definition and continuous improvement of the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) processes. You will lead a service team that is focused on championing customer satisfaction and delivering an end-to-end service in line with SLA targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience of implementing/maturing SACM with a medium to large organisation, and will have in-depth experience of ITSM process improvement and implementation.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Support the drive of the development of the SACM strategy and roadmap, supporting the design and implementation of SACM processes and procedures.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, contracts, systems and assets within area of responsibility.
• Provide advice and guidance to end users so that they can obtain the best from all IT equipment and to respond to requests for information/customer queries in line with agreed SLAs.
• Lead a team, managing their welfare and development and ensure high levels of motivation.
• Co-ordinate the work of the team, directing activities, monitoring progress and managing competing demand/priorities.

Key Skills of the role

• Experience of implementing or maturing SACM within a medium to large organisation, alongside experience of enabling SACM process through IT Service Management toolsets.
• Excellent knowledge of how SACM and Licence Management processes integrate and interact with other ITIL processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate a Service Delivery team to achieve corporate objectives.
• Ability to manage 3^rd party suppliers, ensuring service levels are met.
• Experience in task & team member organisation, in line with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Salary

The salary for this position is £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
