IT Infrastructure Analyst – SCCM/Desktop – Birmingham

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst for a leading organisation based in Birmingham. As an Infrastructure engineer/analyst you be responsible for providing a high level of technical support to internal users on projects/BAU. The role will be 2 days in the office, with a flexibility working policy.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability, particularly around SCCM and desktop applications.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • To provide infrastructure support (Hardware, software and networking)
  • Providing 3rdline support from hardware, software, and network to all teams
  • Provide guidance to 2ndline support team, on BAU and project work
  • Working with project teams to ensure documentation is maintained and up to date.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

Key Skills required:

  • Previous experience in an Infrastructure/3rdLine position, preferably within a medium/large scale organisation
  • SCCM experience is essential for this role.
  • Patching/Patching Management experience
  • Previous experience in an 2nd/3rdline IT support/IT infrastructure role
  • Knowledge of Active Directory/user group management
  • Able to perform complex troubleshooting
  • TCP/IP and Networking Experience

Salary:

Our client is offering a salary of £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, with a variety of excellent benefits available on offer.
