Lead Solution Architect – Bespoke/Digital – Central London
Lead Solutions Architect required for a leading organisation based in Central London, close to Euston Station, where you will play a key role in the strategic direction, technical oversight and management of a small team of architects. My client provide a product and service that is very complex and bespoke to its sector. As a result, they need a Lead Architect, with broad technical expertise, that can ensure that the solutions deliver tangible benefits to its customer base.
The ideal candidate will have proven Architecture experience working with bespoke and complex solutions, and will have the desire/experience of managing a small team of technically astute architects.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the solutions that are built are affordable, secure, scalable and highly available.
- Drive the overall technical roadmap for the product, working with like-minded architects to drive this forward.
- Ensure that solutions are delivering real benefits to external customers, whilst adhering to architectural best practice.
- Develop and maintaining up to date views of the technical architecture, thus driving the overall maturity of the solutions.
- Line management and development of a team of architects working cross functionally to support development teams.
Key Skills of the role
- Broad technical architecture experience, with experience with real-time, highly resilient, high availability systems. Product focused individual.
- Experience with cloud technologies – AWS ideally.
- Experience working with large amount of data, and have experience with Queuing technologies, High Volume messaging and data streaming, Integration methodologies and data analytics.
- Understanding and knowledge of providing managed service offerings to multiple clients.
- The ideal candidate will have come from a small to medium sized organisation, that has an ability to work with complex solutions.
