Junior/Mid-Level SQL Database Administrator – Remote/UK
Junior/Mid-Level SQL DBA required for a leading UK organisation, where you will be responsible for working with another more Senior SQL to monitor, configure and maintain the on-premise SQL Servers to ensure continuity of service and performance. Within the role, you will also get the opportunity to work with other technologies and BI Development if this was of interest to you.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience as a SQL DBA, and will be looking to work with a Senior DBA to further advance their career.
Overview of the role
- Conduct Database Administration (DBA) of OLAP and OLTP database environments using MS SQL Server
- Assist internal end users in defining change requests to ensure specifications are clear and agreed
- Develop training and user support material for Business Intelligence systems and solutions
- Develop and maintain technical and IT support documentation
- Create and maintain tools to track trends in server usage statistics
- Utilise your knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts, whilst monitoring the organisations SQL Servers.
Salary
The salary for this position is between £30,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. The role can be performed fully from home.
