IT Audio & Visual Support Assistant – Central London

IT Audio & Visual Support Assistant required for a global organisation based near St Pauls in Central London, where you will play a key role in the provision of Audio Visual, Video Conferencing and Unified Communications solutions. You will be mainly responsible for supporting technical and non-technical external clients, and as such you will have excellent communication skills and an ability to work with a wide variety of people of differing levels of seniority.

The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of AV technologies and an awareness of practical issues with both relevant hardware and software, network technology and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Provide customer service and audio-visual equipment troubleshooting and problem resolution via phone, video and email.
  • Possess a high level of knowledge in Audio, Video, Video Conference and control systems.
  • Work independently and communicate effectively, whilst making sound decisions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to perform remote testing and problem diagnosis for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifies & LCD/Plasma displays.
  • Act as first-line response to resolve a problem or identify resolution via appropriate vendor/3rd party.
  • Daily system monitoring to ensure equipment and room functionality.

The salary for the AV support position is up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on the experience, plus excellent benefits and company culture.
