IT Application Support Analyst – Cardiff

IT Application Support Analyst required for a global organisation based in Cardiff, where you will be responsible for support, maintain and configure internal systems/applications. Working as part of a larger Application & Support team, you will assist in the day-to-day support and technical queries for the platform and other applications.

The ideal candidate will have previous application software/IT support experience, who is looking to develop their application support experience further. Within the role, you will have full training and mentoring to assist in your development.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Assist with technical queries from internal users
  • Liaise and manage 3rdparty relationships
  • Work collaboratively with all technical IT teams to improve system and application support
  • Support testing and architectural activities acting as a subject matter expert (SME)
  • Work with team members and external training providers to improve your knowledge and experience

Key Skills of the role

  • Previous experience in IT application support or IT support role
  • Ability to support a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Strong focus on team achievements but can work effectively without guidance
  • Desirable to have knowledge Legal or Financial Applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
