Data Analyst – Power BI/SSRS – Birmingham/Flexible
Data Analyst required for an international organisation based in Birmingham, where you will be responsible for managing data and analytics projects, working in conjunction with other members of the data team. You will work with internal stakeholders to help identify the needs and requirements, in order to help define suitable solutions, utilising PowerBI/SSRS.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with PowerBI, SSRS, data warehousing and data modelling experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing data projects and coordinate resource need accordingly.
- Create new reporting solutions through the use of PowerBI and/or SSRS
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs.
- Defining and promoting good practice with regards to the technical report delivery process.
- Working with other teams to ensure the right technical infrastructure is in place, working with suppliers where necessary.
Key Skills of the role
- Prior experience working in a data analyst position, with experience working with PowerBI and SSRS
- Knowledge of reporting concepts, such as ETLs, facts and dimensions, tabular models.
- Knowledge and experience with data warehousing and modelling.
- Problem solver with a mindset of providing solutions.
Salary
The salary/package for this position is up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and flexible working.
