Application Support Analyst – ERP/CRM - Burton-On-Trent

Application Support Analyst required for a leading organisation based in Burton-on-Trent, where you will be responsible for supporting and resolving issues within key systems within the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have 2^nd/3^rd line experience, excellent technical knowledge and particular experience with CRM and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Support the service desk and project management to team to analyse, maintain and support internal systems and applications.
• Develop detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions and steps required for modifying systems.
• Analyse performance indicators such as systems response times, number of transactions per second to ensure that all systems are operating efficiently.
• Drive definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements on assigned application systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for existing applications both internal and to the business.

Key Skills of the role

• The ideal candidate will have 2^nd/3^rd line experience, and particular experience with CRM and ERP systems. Preferable to have experience with Sage and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience of full lifecycle technical projects, from conception through to benefits realisation.
• Experience of active involvement in large-scale business improvement projects.
• Desirable to have SDLC experience and testing lifecycle exposure.
• Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and track record of successfully managing stakeholder relations at all levels.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on the experience of the candidate.
