IT Business Partner – Retail/Systems/Project Management – Walsall
IT Solutions/Business Partner required for a global retail organisation that is currently undergoing exciting growth and technology change. Within the role, you be responsible for managing change and problem management, and identifying innovation/improvements for stores/hubs across the UK. Working alongside project managers, you will assist in the overall delivery of key strategic projects and other smaller change requests.
The ideal candidate will have IT retail experience/experience working in a fast-paced environment, along with the experience of developing and implementing processes and policies. The ideal candidate will preferably come from a project manager background, but with prior experience of line management as well as business stakeholder management experience.
Key Responsibilities of the role
- Work with project teams to understand the system functionality and non-functional requirements for all business areas
- Ensure that changes are appropriately tested and managed through the change control process, working with the change and transition team
- Acting as incident manager if international application issues are encountered
- Work with project managers/owners to plan and execute projects, ensuring that teams appropriate requirements, direction and resources to deliver new products effectively
- Work with external vendors to ensure change is delivered on time and incidents are resolved quickly
Key Skills of the role
- Experience working in a fast-paced/preferably retail IT environment, and an ability to manage multiple workflows
- Experience with change and problem management, alongside experience managing a variety of different projects
- Experience in the development and implementation of processes and policies
- Previous experience working in a customer-focused role/technical support position
- Ability to manage relationships with external vendors and support partners
Salary
The salary for this position is between £55,000 - £58,000, plus car allowance/excellent benefits and fantastic company culture.
