Solution Architect – Birmingham City Centre

Solution Architect required for a leading organisation based in Birmingham City Centre, where you will be responsible for defining the end-to-end solutions architecture for the portfolio of technology change to support the delivery of business goals and objectives.

You will play a key part in the definition of architectural building blocks, portfolio/sequence of change, governance measures and structures to deliver. The ideal candidate for the role will have a strong solutions architecture background, at both strategic and practical hands-on level.

Key Skills of the role

• Strong solutions architecture background at both strategic and practical hands-on level.
• Ability to work cross functionally to determine reference architectures 7 patterns and define portfolio of change needed to implement.
• Experience of designing, building and productionising multi-platform/device customer facing applications and solutions.
• Strong technical design expertise, competent in security, accuracy, performance, resilience and availability across architectures.
• Experience of deploying solutions to IaaS and PaaS services from, AWS, Microsoft or Google.
• Comfortable with traditional and contemporary infrastructure & application technologies and development languages.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £60,000 per annum, plus an excellent bonus scheme & benefits
