IT Service Delivery Support Analyst – ITIL - Burton-On-Trent

IT Service Delivery Support Analyst required for a leading organisation based in Burton-on-Trent, where you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service, whilst responding to a range of internal IT issues. Within the role, you will work collaboratively and continue to promote service improvement, acting as a key contact point within and on behalf of, IT and for the business. This role is initially a fixed term contract position.

The ideal candidate will have 2nd line experience, experience/certification with ITIL and proven experience operating in a high-paced IT Service/Operations role.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Take ownership for the incident and problem management processes; ensuring compliance across the IT arena and promoting best practice.
  • Support the major incident management process, throughout the life of the incident, helping to drive an effective and timely resolution whilst keeping key business stakeholders informed.
  • Build strong relationships across IT and the wider business, acting as a point of contact and actively promoting and assisting the adoption of continual service improvement process.
  • Support the IT Service Delivery team as it transitions to, and embeds, new ways of working arising from the major transformation programme.

Key Skills of the role

  • The ideal candidate will have 2nd line experience, preferably in a fast-paced ITIL environment
  • Experience of working with Service Management Toolsets, and be able to confidently extract, interpret and present data.
  • Self-motivated, energetic with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Well organised with a systematic approach
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and track record of successfully managing stakeholder relations at all levels.
