Mid-Level PHP Developer – Marlow
PHP Developer required for a leading organisation based in Marlow, where you will play a key part in the analysis, design and development of various internal systems used within this national organisation. You will play a key part in developing quality software solutions, working with other technically minded software engineers. If you are a senior developer with the following technical skills I would be interested in speaking with you regarding an upcoming role also.
The ideal candidate will have experience with PHP development, alongside MySQL, React and Lamp skills.
Key responsibilities of the role
- Develop quality software solutions that adhere to best practices.
- Review business requirements/functional specifications and create the appropriate solution design.
- Contribute to the project management of any solutions through estimation of tasks and development timelines.
- Have a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on a regular basis.
Key Skills of the role
- Have previous experience in PHP and REACT web application development using the LAMP stack, with a willingness to cross train in Java.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Object Oriented PHP, and MySQL.
- Solid understanding of database development, including schema design, query optimisation etc.
- Knowledge of REACT or similar technologies, JavaScript libraries.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Salary
The salary for this position is between £38,000 – £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
