IT Project Manager – Applications/Deployment – Birmingham/Remote
IT Project Manager required for an international organisation based in Birmingham, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of high profile/critical projects, as part of a global roll-out of new systems and software. Within the role, you will be responsible for delivering a plan to successfully uninstall legacy applications from the desktop, and install new applications in their place.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with project managing the installing and removing applications from Windows 10 Desktops. My client is looking for a real self-starter who is able to hit the ground running on this high profile project.

Key Responsibilities of the role
- Responsible for delivering a plan to successfully uninstall legacy applications (& linked integrations) from Windows 10 desktop & Citrix and install new applications in their place
- Responsible for the full project lifecycle through design, planning, build, test, deployment and lessons learned.
- Responsible for the day to day management of 3rd parties and internal team members working on the delivery of the project.
- Creation and ownership of MS project plans, identify and understand dependencies and ensure realistic delivery dates. Report progress against baseline for key milestones.
- Creation and ownership of the project RAID log, responsible for the ensuring the resolution of all issues and the identification of mitigations for risks.
- Responsible for ensuring engagement of key stakeholders and keeping them engaged and up to date with project progress.
- Understand and communicate technical solutions and designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Salary
The salary for this position is between £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and flexible working.
