Head of IT Infrastructure – 3PL/E-Fulfilment – Midlands

Head of IT Infrastructure required for an established organisation who are currently progressing through an exciting period of transformation, where you will own and manage all areas of IT infrastructure and IT service delivery, leading a small of infrastructure engineers. You will lead on the development and implementation of technology roadmaps, and will be fully capable of providing 3^rd to 4^th Line support to the team when required to do so.

The role can be a home-based position, but I am ideally looking to speak with Midlands based candidates for this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a 3PL/fulfilment/warehousing environment, and will be a technically hands-on infrastructure professional.

Key Skills of the role

• Proven experience in an IT infrastructure leadership position, with previous experience gained working in a hands-on infrastructure engineer type role.
• Prior experience working in a 3PL, fulfilment or warehousing background.
• Highly effective communicator with a focus on the end customer, but equally capable of communicating to exec level.
• A problem solver who displays high levels of resilience and has a passion for achieving the right outcomes.
• Excellent planning and priortisation skills.
• Driven, energetic and enthusiastic, with a ‘can do, will do’ approach.

Salary

The salary/package for this position is between £65,000 – £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including car allowance, and flexible working.
