Description

Reporting to the C-level your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and implementing strategic initiatives for product categories.
  • Developing and managing relationships with key suppliers, partners.
  • Managing a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives.
  • Driving profitability and growth of product categories.
  • Ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors.
  • Collaborating with marketing to drive category awareness.
  • Creating and implementing category-specific plans and promotions.
  • Recruiting, managing and providing training / coaching to develop the team members.
  • Sustaining the operations by identifying new business and generating new opportunities. 
  • Defining the strategy, adapting the strategy to local specifications. 

 



Candidate's Profile

Without doubt you must have an excellent communication in both English and Bahasa, and a strong drive to build the business. You will not only demonstrate the ability to hit and exceed significant revenue targets but you must also posses the ability to lead and manage a large team. A successful candidate should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 15+ years of working experience in a fast-paced environment (preference in B2C technology based company) in a multi-national set up.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to drive successful teams.
  • Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assesses, recognize and reward performance.
  • Outstanding commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of the technology market.
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
