Our client is a well-established international consumer products company with a strong global footprint across Europe, Asia and North America.

We are currently looking for a Fabric Sourcing talent to support regional sourcing and material development initiatives across Asia.

Candidates currently based in Mainland China are highly welcomed and will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and develop fabrics and textile materials for consumer products
• Manage relationships with fabric mills, yarn suppliers and material vendors across China and Asia
• Identify and qualify new suppliers, technologies and innovative materials
• Evaluate supplier performance in quality, cost, delivery and technical capability
• Support fabric testing, validation and compliance requirements
• Partner closely with sourcing, product development, engineering and quality teams
• Conduct supplier visits throughout China and support regional sourcing projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in:

  • Fabric Sourcing
  • Fabric Development
  • Material Development
  • Fabric Technology
  • Textile Engineering
  • Raw Material Management

• Strong understanding of:

  • Fabric manufacturing processes
  • Fabric mills
  • Yarn suppliers
  • Material development

• Experience working directly with China-based textile suppliers

• Experience in apparel, children's products, soft goods or related consumer products preferred

• Familiarity with fabric testing, product quality and compliance requirements

• Fluent Mandarin and good English communication skills

• Willing to travel frequently within China
