Associate Director – Footwear Design (remote) 

We are working with a fast-growing sportswear company that is driving innovation across product design, manufacturing, and consumer experience. They are now hiring an Associate Director – Footwear Design, a strategic and creative leadership role ideal for experienced designers passionate about performance, style, and movement.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design of performance and sports footwear, blending style, comfort, and functionality
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align design with market trends, consumer needs, and product development
• Translate concepts into sketches and prototypes, considering materials, ergonomics, and manufacturing
• Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate cutting-edge technologies and materials
• Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to production
• Participate in testing and quality control to uphold design excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Design or related field
• 8+ years of experience in footwear design, ideally in sports or performance categories
• Strong proficiency in design software and technical understanding of materials and construction
• Creative, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a passion for sport and innovation
