Base Monthly Rate: AED 30k (GBP 5700 per month) – AED 50k (GBP 9500 per month)

As a preferred recruitment partner to one of the most prestigious organisations in the world, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a number of Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to join them on initial 12-month contracts (expected to extend beyond, or eventually go perm). This position is based in our client’s global HQ in the vibrant city of Dubai, although initial remote working will be accepted due to travel restrictions.

Skills / Experience
• Solid experience in quality related roles with increasing responsibility, impact, and scope within a digital or ecommerce environment.
• Solid experience in experience as a Software Quality Engineering manager or equivalent position looking after products across an enterprise.
• Experience working closely with development teams and business stakeholders to define business requirements, analyse and communicate impacts of incidents on customer experience
• Experience in managing Software Quality Engineering activities in a continuous integration/deployment environment
• Strong understanding how all elements of the software ecosystem work together and develop a Quality Engineering strategy to support the overall product development strategy
• Demonstrable experience of leading medium to large Software Quality Engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Experience in Quality Engineering for highly scalable, distributed and high performance platforms
• Excellent grasp of latest testing trends and technologies
• Excellent knowledge of automation methodologies, processes, and tools with hands on experience
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and coding design patterns
• Demonstrable skills in developing automation frameworks and integrating with CI pipelines
• Wide exposure to different automation techniques across the technology stack
• Strong understanding of driving adoption of Agile Testing and Test Automation across the teams whilst understanding the limitations of Test Automation.
• Hands on appreciation of the value of manual testing to maximise quality assurance in the final deliverable product.
