HVAC Fitter / Engineer – Delta Junction

Location: Delta Junction - Water Orton
Project: HS2

MSS Infrastructure are currently looking for experienced HVAC Fitters / Engineers to join the team working on the Delta Junction project.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable individual with strong HVAC experience who can work safely and efficiently on a major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment.
  • Carry out mechanical installation works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Install ductwork, ventilation systems, pipework and associated components.
  • Work with heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
  • Read and work from technical drawings, schematics and specifications.
  • Carry out testing, inspections and fault finding where required.
  • Ensure all installations are completed to the required quality standards.
  • Work alongside other trades and coordinate works with site teams.
  • Follow RAMS, permits and site procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
  • Report any issues, defects or delays to the relevant site management.
  • Carry out general HVAC and mechanical duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HVAC Fitter, HVAC Engineer or Mechanical Fitter.
  • Strong practical knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installations.
  • Experience working from drawings and technical information.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications.
  • Valid CSCS or relevant site card.
  • City & Guilds Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
  • Good communication and reliability.
  • Previous experience on HS2 or major infrastructure projects is desirable.

As an HVAC Fitter / Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and associated works for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems across the project.

You will work closely with the site management and engineering teams to ensure all works are completed safely, to the required quality standards and in line with the project programme
