Shuttering Joiner – HS2

£22.20 – £23.20 per hour (Rate variations are dependent upon shift pattern, assignment requirements, engagement type and, where applicable, relevant experience and qualifications.)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner on construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Valid CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card – Formwork Joiner or relevant equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Strong knowledge of formwork and concrete construction.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous HS2 or major infrastructure experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and install timber and proprietary formwork systems.
• Build shuttering for concrete foundations, walls, slabs and other structures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut and assemble timber and other materials accurately.
• Install and dismantle formwork safely.
• Ensure shuttering is correctly aligned, level and securely supported.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Work closely with Steel Fixers, Groundworkers and other site trades.
• Follow RAMS and all site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Our client is looking for a Shuttering Joiner for work in Cubbington.

As a Shuttering Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing and dismantling formwork and shuttering for concrete structures. You will work from drawings and specifications to ensure shuttering is built accurately, safely and to the required standard.
