Title: BI Developer
Location: Knustford, Cheshire
Rate: £400 - £409 a day / Umbrella
Contract duration: 3-6 months initially
My Global technical services client is currently looking for a skilled BI Developer to work in cheshire on a contractual basis to start on the ASAP.
Role description:
The current team are all experts in SQLServer and BI Products SSIS, SSRS & SSAS as a minimum but also have additional skills in Databases ( eg Oracle, Terada, Hadoop etc) and full experience in all aspects of Development Lifecycle and perform BA, Technical BA, Developer, Test and Support roles.
Person will be required to be analytical, have a good eye for detail and logical in their approach to data management. An ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales is essential. The individual must have a practical and pragmatic approach to their work and use their communication skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Essential skills and experience:
• Strong development experience of MS Sql Server SSAS SSAS, SSRS
• Understanding of ETL procedures
• Good Hadoop, Hive skills
• Significant experience of data analysis and relational databases
• Experience of Credit Risk
• Previous experience of working in development teams with a full understanding of the development lifecycle.
Desirable skills and experience:
• Oracle Sql
• Qlikview
• Teradata SQL
• AWS
• FSS
