37 hours per week – must be available to work Monday – Wednesday and Saturday & Sunday

Central Bristol – fully office based
Tate are working with a local authority in their search for a Culture and Events Development Officer on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a range of markets and other cultural activities to support a local market.
- Work with individuals, culture and event organisations, businesses and other high street stakeholders to animate and generate footfall at the market.
- Support the development of the city’s recovery plans to re-animate the city centre and high streets, providing opportunities for everyone to participate.
- Provide professional guidance, advice, advocacy and support to individuals, groups and organisations to enable the delivery of cultural activities and events.
- Monitoring and reporting of funding allocations and projects
You will be responsible for ensuring that the culture and event activities developed meet the following aims:
- Create local distinctiveness and activate and animate the selected high streets through a programme of activities
- Deliver cultural projects or events that are inclusive, diverse, and easy to access that celebrate and engage with communities, businesses and stakeholders.
- Invest in the culture and events sector.
- Embed environmental sustainability and climate and ecological emergency priorities, raising awareness and addressing priorities through the proposed projects and activities.
