We are looking for a coordinator to support out wider logistics team with all aspects of technology and equipment required for convoy vehicles. You will manage and support the Tour Services team responsible for the scheduling and management of all the travel and accommodation logistics, Guest Programme and Covid-19 rescheduling surrounding the UK elements of the relay.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Operations Manager (SOM) and the wider Logistics Team with the technology, livery and equipment needed for all convoy vehicles
- Support the SOM and the wider Logistics Team with the fit-out of vehicles to relay specifications including installing communications, racking, camera platforms etc. and branding of vehicles
- Support the SOM and the wider Logistics Team in pre-relay vehicles assigned to the QBR program including the completion of all related forms
- Support Tour Services Manager (TSM) & Tour Service Coordinator (TSO), on staff travel and accommodation bookings
- Relay time responsibilities
- Support the wider Logistics Team with managing the fleet of relay vehicles, including maintenance, refuelling, and cleaning
- Support the TSM & TSO, in coordinating the movement, bump-in and bump-out of all office equipment
- Support the SOM with managing the parking of convoy vehicles at overnight accommodation locations
- Support the TSM & TSO, in coordinating the packing, unpacking and movement of all relay staff luggage
- Responsibilities of the role will evolve during the lifespan of the Organising Committee, and it is likely that the role profile will evolve with the changing needs of the OC

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Full UK driving license with 2 years driving experience and no more than 6 points
- Ability to build relationships, with speed and credibility, with people at all levels (internal and external)
- Knowledge of UK geographical layout and its cities and towns
- Passion and enthusiasm for sporting events
- Ability to juggle several tasks simultaneously, working closely with your line manager to ensure nothing is missed
Desirable
- A level education or equivalent professional qualification
- Ability to support in across a wide range of diverse tasks
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Previous experience as a team player

Contract: Fixed-term contract until August 2022
Location: Six Brindley Place, Birmingham (Includes travelling across the UK regularly)
Salary: Upto £16ph
Please note, due to the nature of this huge event, shift work including weekend working will be required at Games time. Furthermore, there will be limitations on taking annual leave during the Games operational period in July and August. More specific details can be discussed at interview.
