Our client is a leading manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Using Solidworks to Design sheet metal parts.
- Develop concepts and Prototypes from customer requirements
- Producing technical 3D Drawings
- Compiling BOMs and other technical documentation
- Conducting site surveys from time to time
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in sheet metal design MINIMUM
- 1-2 years experience with Solidworks
- Understanding of sheet metal folding and punching machines
- Right to work in the UK
