Our client is a leading entity in the renewable energy sector. With sites across the country and employs over 1,000 staff across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their EC&I team.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will be working alongside apprentices, EC&I engineers and the team lead
  • The role is 50% office based and 50% hands on
  • The job will involve completing Fault Finding, Repairs and Maintenance on Plant machinery and site Facilities
  • Working on the Electrical and control equipment and systems on-site maintenance
  • Working on Hydraulic, Pnuematic, Electrical and Mechanical faults and breakdowns
  • Managing Contractors on site
  • Assisting with the organisation and planning of maintenance activities
  • Development of the CMMs system
  • Helping to create Continuous Improvement in sites productivity
  • Testing and calibrating of EC&I systems
  • Project work mainly and Continuous Improvement Intiatives
  • Equipment inspections related to HSE legislation and the site and Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC)
  • Managing budgets
  • Standing in as the team leader when he is unavailable

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must be an experiecne Electrical or Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer
  • An electrical Engineering qualification- NVQ level 3, HNC or HND
  • Experience within the energy, energy from waste, process, Recycling, Oil & gas or Power Industry
  • Knowledge and experience of Controls and Instrumentation
  • Team lead experience would be beneficial
