This is a long‑established Corby manufacturer with a genuinely friendly, down‑to‑earth team and a reputation for looking after people. It’s a stable, steady days‑based role where you can settle in, feel valued, and enjoy a supportive working environment without the stress or chaos of bigger industrial sites.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and pneumatic maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs across a range of production machinery.
• Provide day‑to‑day engineering support across site, ensuring equipment and processes run safely and reliably.
• Complete planned maintenance, routine checks and basic site upkeep, with specialist work passed to contractors when needed.
• Respond confidently to issues during the day shift, using sound judgement to keep production moving.
• Work closely with the engineering team to maintain a safe, organised and efficient operation.

What We’re Looking For

• A multiskilled engineer with a mechanical/electrical background
• A recognized engineering qualification such as NVQ, BTEC or C&G
• A time-served engineer able to work alone at times.
• A steady, reliable person with good judgement, problem‑solving ability and the maturity to work without constant supervision.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing or heavy industry is ideal!
