We're looking for experienced design engineers with a passion for military/ defense projects in an expanding and developing industry. The work is bespoke- so no two days are the same!

Roles/Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of heavy duty vehicle components- chassis, suspensions, axles, breaking & pressing systems, machine components, couplings and moving parts
• Creating hydraulic and pneumatic drawings
• Utilizing Solidworks software
• Project management including presentations, liaison with production and follow-ups
• Be in office 5 days per week

What We’re Looking For

• A degree or relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or a related subject
• 10 years experience in mechanical design
• Experience of heavy engineering- sheet metal, fabrication, and welding design
• A background in lifting systems, excavating equipment, special purpose machinery, access platforms is all favourable
